I haven't seen this drug since I was a student! It now only has one UK licenced indication. Short term treatment of severe, intractable insomnia, in patients already addicted to barbiturates. Most GPs would not now prescribe it at all. Barbiturates were nasty drugs at best but have now gone the way of leeches.
