supposedly to kill fungus in shoes so a fungus that i am treating will not return. So besides buying new shoes at this time, i want to try putting the copper chloride in the shoe which is supposed to kill the fungus for 1 month

If purity is not that important, look at the fertilizers sold in the garden sections of superstores. Some contain lots of copper sulfate (about 24%). Just read the labels and look for “copper” or “Cu”. If copper is present, then it will be in a soluble form and a little bit should meet your needs.
Other alternatives are to look in the toy section for 1) a chemistry set or 2) a crystal growing set. Either of these has a high chance of containing some copper sulfate and/or copper chloride. But this option might cost more than a new pair of shoes.
