What is Zango?!

Question:

What is Zango?

Has anyone heard of this? What is it and what is it for? I heard a little commerical on the radio yesterday for it. It's a liquid instead of a pill and it has something to do with mangoes.

Answers:

I believe that you are referring to XanGo Juice. One of its consitituent is Mangosteen (not mangoes). XanGo does not disclose how much Mangosteen is in their juice blend -- it also contains apple, pear, grape, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, cranberry and cherry juices.

There has been a considerable amount of hype from XanGo as well as from other manufacturers of Mangosteen juices. Mangosteen has been touted as a super-fruit and is claimed to possess all sorts of health benefits -- it supposedly cures all sorts of things according to some sources.

There is a fair amount of controvery over the claims made by XanGo and other Mangosteen juice makers. It appears that Mangosteen may actually be a fairly low-nutrient fruit rather than the super-fruit it has benn claimed to be.

There may very well be SOME health benefit from XanGo but don't expect it to be the cure for a myriad of health concerns. It is possible that XanGo's greatest health benefits, IF it is significant at all, come from the blueberry, raspberry, cherry & other fruit juices rather than the highly touted Mangosteen. But since XanGo duznt tell us how much of each fruit is in the mix, we don't really know for sure how beneficial it really is.

Do NOT be swayed by the testimonials that XanGo and other Mangosteen juices employ. Typically, when a product manufacturer relies very heavily on testimonials, it's a red flag that it might not be all that it is claimed to be.

I would urge you to do your own research on XanGo & Mangosteen before making up your mind about these products. Check the following sites out as well:
