On the bottom of my foot (the part you stand on if you stand on your toes) there!

Question:

On the bottom of my foot (the part you stand on if you stand on your toes) there is a bump.?

It has been there for several months. Has kind of a 'center' to it - like I could dig out a core or something.

It really hurts when I walk on it if I don't have shoes on. If I wear tennis shoes or flip flops it is hardly noticeable.

I used to have these years ago and I would just get sick of messing with it and dig it out with a needle - after I kept a medicated corn pad on it for a couple days.

Anybody know what it is or what causes it?

Answers:

It sounds like a Plantar wart, they are common on palms of hands and balls of feet. You can try wart remover...they make special ones for plantar warts, as you have to get rid of the core.
