Question:

Don't you get temprarly blinded after you have recieved laser correction vision?

do you not?

Answers:

Do you mean lasik surgery? I had it done last year. I was not temporarily blind, but I was VERY sensitive to light for the drive home from the procedure. I have never heard of being able to drive home after this procedure. The doctor's office gave me very dark goggles to wear home for the ride. These are typical post-op directions. I would assume they wouldn't tell you NOT to watch tv or use a computer if you were blind.

"Arrange for a friend or family member to drive you home. Take It Easy! Restrict activities to minimal, restful things and keep eyes well lubricated with artificial tears. We advise no reading, no computer work, and no watching TV. We recommend resting for the first 24 hours following surgery."
