Vertigo- dizzy?
Had a MRI - no results - and tried meds & rest but it hasn't improved- does anybody have help?

I have a disease call Meniere's disease which was diagnosed after I had spells of extreme dizziness, nausea and vomiting. It took awhile to diagnose. I had alot of tests performed and since Meniere's is not very common it took them awhile to determine that is what I had. I had to restrict salt in my diet to a minimum because salt causes water retention which in Meniere's patients causes the inner ear system to promote dizziness.
In the meantime, while you are in the process of being diagnosed try to reduce your salt. There are alot of websites you can visit for information. Just google menieres and there are tons of websites to help, not only with Menieres but dizziness.
