I know it'll feel weird, but turn your head to the side and pour a capful of hydrogen peroxide into the congested ear. Let this sit for about 10 minutes then turn your head over the other way. -Usually it's done when the crackling sound slows alot.
Do it no more than 3 times a day.
Make sure you let it all out before doing it again.
I do this to treat ear infections. It really works!
