Would you have a procedure for a novacaine injection on lower back (L4-L5) vs. c!

Question:

Would you have a procedure for a novacaine injection on lower back (L4-L5) vs. chiropractic procedure?

Answers:

If you're looking for pain relief, the injection can be a very good choice. I've had the procedure quite a few times and it's helped. Although, to be honest, sometimes they didn't. If the pain is due to a pinched nerve or herniated disc, I would tend to go with the injection. The injection has steroids in it, which reduces the swelling and makes you feel much better. A chiropractor (in my opinion) can't really help with inflammation that is inside. They pretty much just manipulate the bones around. Not only that, they could move you the wrong way and make the pain worse.

The procedure doesn't take too long and isn't painful. You didn't give out specific reasons for why you need to make this choice, but if it's for herniated disc or pinched nerve, sciatica, etc., I would lean toward the injection.
