Does anyone know a really good, holistic way to control nail fungus?!

Question:

Does anyone know a really good, holistic way to control nail fungus?

I have a friend who continually battles with this and really hates to use manufactured "drugs" to deal with it.

So, she asked me about it, because I am the type who tries not to use any more drugs than absolutely necessary. The thing is, I just haven't happened to have any experience with this particular issue.

So, if anyone could give us some insight into something we could try, that would be awesome. Particularly if you know of a way to do it with ingredients we might already have around.

Thanks for your help!

Hi animal lovers, I also always been an avid animal lover for as long as I can remember.

For your a friend a really good a thorough examination by her doctor, but ... my advice a treatment... you may be good assistant.
1. Tea tree oil is a potent natural antiseptic and fungicide that will help fight with her fungus. Apply undiluted tea tree oil with olive oil to the affected toe nail. Alternatively you can put few drops of tea tree oil on toenails and rub it thoroughly every day.
2. Soak her toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves her toe nails looking healthy.
3. Soak her toenails for 15 - 20 minutes in basin full of warm water and natural apple cider vinegar mixed in equal proportion. When done, dry her toenails thoroughly. Use a hair dryer on warm setting to absorb all the moisture in and around the toes.
4. Put equal amount of tea tree oil and lavender oil on a cotton ball or swab. Dab it under the top edge of the toe nail and surrounding area 2 or 3 times a day. Tea tree oil is natural antibiotic and lavender will help fight the infection and prevent skin irritation.
5. Blend 2 drops of Oregano essential oil with a tsp of olive oil. Apply this mixture on the on toenails area daily for NOT more than three weeks. Oregano essential oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, antiparasitical, antiviral, analgesic and antifungal properties.
6. Until the growth of the new nail is complete, apply apple cider vinegar 2 or 3 times a day.
7. Lather AHA creams onto her feet before going to bed. This will flush the rough scaly skin from her feet that is more prone to growing fungus.
Treatment is not difficult, your friend can conduct this by itself,
