Alternative remedies for kidney infections?!

Alternative remedies for kidney infections?

My mother has kidney faliure and is suffering with constant infections which are leaving her feeling nauseous and aching.
We are due to go on holiday in less than 2 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could give her to help her feel better?

Thank you for all your answers, can't chose one as best though. Dr Frank I wouldn't use only alternatives, as I know the risks, just thought there may be something extra I could do. And the person who wondered why I've left it so long to find out, have you ever been a full time carer with two young children and a part time job? I don't have much time to scatch my but! I was kind of desperate at the time of posting this question. My mother is feeling a little better now, so we are relatively calm. Thanks XX

As a healthcare provider I can tell you that if she has infections she needs antibiotics. And this will require a visit to your provider. Since she has a measure of renal failure it will make a difference in what medications she can take. Also since it's important that we try to maintain what kidney function she has left...you need to be on your toes about addressing and treating any infections in the renal/urinary tract system.
