Experience with supplement, Neuro-PS or Phosphatidylserine?!

Question:

Experience with supplement, Neuro-PS or Phosphatidylserine?

I was looking for Ginko Biloba but the guy at GNC said that's only a blood thinner and an old remedy for boosting brain function and that I should use this NeuroPS. Is this true?

Tell me about your exprience with Ginko or this NeuroPS:
Did it improve your memory and focus?
Did you experience any side effects like headaches, specificly with the NeuroPS?

Do you know of any other supplements to boost brain function?

Answers:

Ginko Biloba does thin the blood, therefore allowing better circulation to the brain. Do not take this if you're on blood thinning meds.

Phosphatidylserine is a natural phospholipid that is an essential component of cell membranes. PS promotes brain function by increasing neuronal membrane fluidity(cell-to-cell communication), resulting in improved cognition. Also, PS protects against stress by mitigating the actions of the catabolic stress hormone cortisol.

Personally I found that New Chapter's Neurozyme works best for me. There are many reasons why people lose their memory or have a hard time concentrating, so it's hard to narrow it down with just 1 product. Neurozyme is a complex of herbs and nutrients that will help with all aspects of brain health: circulation, stress, inflammation, fatigue, or lack of phytonutrients that support health neurotransmission (brain activity). There are probably other products that are very complete like neurozyme. Just make sure that you either target the reason why this problem is occurring or find a good complete formula.

I didn't experience any side effects and definetly noticed results quite quickly. With any product, many things work differently on different people, so depending on the situation, it may take longer to experience results.
