Does anybody know of any new treatments for ankylosing spondalosis?
My husband hasn't seen the doctor for it in about 10 years. Just wondering if there have been any break throughs.

Usually, in the case of ankylosing type of spondylosis, there is no cure, just relief from pain. Docs administer NSAIDs or occasionally may be steroidal treatment becomes necessary.
Exercise helps. See a physiotherapist. Acupressure can help without the use of medicines. But you may need to do this for a long time depending on the condition.
If you have an infra-red light at home, do the IR light therapy for 10 mins every day. The heat from the lamp reduces the pain.
Neck exercises definitely help.
