Ear Infection Help Please?
I currently have an ear infection. It is really bothering me because I can nothear at all out of one of my ears. Today, the doctor put me on omnicef. It feels like there is a bunch of water clogged in my ear. I keep yawning hoping that it will pop but that is only making it worse. I was wondering if I can try putting hydrogen peroxide in the ear. Am I allowed to put that into an infected ear?

You need to sooth the ear and fight the infection. Olive oil is a good start but if you mix medical grade Tea Tree oil with it (Melaleuca Alternafolia) at a ratio of about 1 part Tea Tree to 6 parts Olive oil it will also fight the infection. Tea tree oil is penetrating and soothing as long as it is medical grade (Wal-mart even carries a medical grade). My son had chronic ear infections growing up due to his special needs and this worked every time!
