Anyone know of some foods that can make your system "move"?

my husband has a weight test tomorrow (he's in the army) and needs some type of food that will help things "move along faster" sort of like a natural exlax? Anyone have any idea?

Ok maybe getting things moving was the wrong words, more of to clean him out because he eats a lot of red meat and heard something about it takes about 10 years to digest it? He will easily pass the weight test this is just sort of a precaution so he doesn't have to be taped.


Answers:

he needs to digest the meat in his stomach before he should eat veggies/fruits. That takes after 3-5 hours. after that period then you can eats fruits and veggies. IF you choose fruits DONT use veggies. There digestion times are different and can ferment in his stomach causing gas, bloating, and heart burn(if he has heartburn).

eating meats first then fruits or veggies just makes the plants ferment while the meat is digesting in your stomach. not the other way around.


fruits::

- dried fruits such as apricots, dates, prunes and raisins
- berries such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries
- oranges, apple with skin, avocado, kiwi, mango and pear, payapya

veggies:

- broccoli, spinach, swiss chard, green peas and other dark green leafy vegetables
- dried peas and beans such as kidney beans, lima beans,
- black-eyed beans, chick peas and lentils

flax seed fiber(best) and phylum isn't bad but drink PLENTY of water with it.


a detox bath such as Epsom salt and ginger baths(putting choped ginger in the bath) also can make you loose a couple lbs as well depending on your weight. <-it makes you sweat which makes you loose a few lbs fast.
