Answers:
Coconut oil - eaten daily in place of other oils... has been known to "cure" the condition.
It's a miracle, and the only "side effects" are those of improved health.
Topically, you can apply tea tree oil, or hydrogen peroxide. (a virus doesn't care much for oxygen)
Also, as mentioned, lysine can be helpful in preventing herpes outbreaks - however it can lead to elevated cholesterol levels, so be cautious.
