How does 'natural male enhancement' work?
Does it raise certain hormone levels or something? I'm not asking about if/when to use it because i'm not going to, i'm just curious about how it works.

For the most part these products provide little, if any benefit. Theoretically they work by either increasing levels of testosterone, dilating vessels, or both.
The biggest problem with this class of products is that all the "proof" is either in isolated cells or in animals. None of the current products on the market, save yohimbe, have any clinical data showing benefit in humans. Even in the case of yohimbe the effective rate is quite small and there is a significant risk of raising your blood pressure. Now that's a raise in blood pressure not related to any anticipation of using your new found male enhancement that may be present.
It's all a good theory, now we just need some human data to go with it.
