Does the herb Damiana contain THC?!

Does the herb Damiana contain THC?

I am interested in herbal teas, but I am concerned that the legal mildly altering herbs may show up on a drug test. Do any of the typical 'spiritual' herbs contain THC or other chemicals which might show on a test?

I just asked that question myself, about salvia at least. From what I understand the natural psychadelics are non-toxic to the body and dont leave anything behind, or have any permanent effects.

Marijuana is different though, it is pretty toxic (THC)...its not classified the same kind of drug.

And why are they trying to make these things illegal in some states? Theyre 100 times milder than alcohol if you ask me.
