What is good for pain in a fibromyalgia flare up?!

Question:

What is good for pain in a fibromyalgia flare up?

Answers:

I highly recommend allergy testing to see if you have undiagnosed food allergies. I suffered with fibro and other health issues for years, and then found out I was allergic to wheat, soy, eggs, commercial dairy, peanuts, tomato and avacado. I eliminated them from my diet and healed completely. The only time I have had a flare in 3 years is when I have cheated on my diet. Try keeping a food journal for a few weeks (free online food diary at nutridiary.com) to see if you notice a worsening of symptoms within 36 hours of eating certain foods. Some reactions are delayed. Have you eaten anything in the past few days that you dont have on a regular basis? Email me if you need more info. I hope you feel better soon (The meds I was taking were making it worse, because the meds contained my allergens, too) I take no medication at all now, and was on 17 different medications before. Good luck
