Ear wax? Hearing Loss? Water sound?!

Question:

Ear wax? Hearing Loss? Water sound?

I woke up with a ear ache and I thought it was an ear infection. I have narrowed it down to be wax build up. I tried ear wax remover kit and well i lost my hearing. I tried Peroxide and well that kinda finished off my hearing. Know i can't hear anything out of my right ear. We i massage it i can hear what sounds to be like liquid inside my inner ear, is that good or bad?? And is there anyway to dry it out? Any medication?? Thanks so much for helping me!

Answers:

If you did not use the ear wax kit properly, you might've perferated your ear drum, which will cause a hearing loss. Putting a liquid into your ear after a perferation can cause a buildup in your middle ear, which will cause a further hearing loss. You need to get to a doctor right away. A perferated ear drum may not heal, and prolonged liquid in your middle ear can cause an infection. FYI: Do NOT EVER use Q-tips or 'ear candles' to get rid of wax. Wax is somethig that is SUPPOSED to be in your ear, and is your body's natural way of getting rid of small particles that are not supposed to be there. Doctors suggest getting rid of wax if there is too much buildup. Good luck!
