Okay, I'm not usually a gassy person. In fact, I hardly ever pass gas. I have recently gone on a detox diet that consists of some food restrictions and colon detox herbs each day. Since I have started this program, I have had a lot of gas. Not many BMs yet, but A LOT of gas...
Is this normal? Is my body starting to clean itself out??

Yes it's quite normal to have more gas when you start a detox program.
You mentioned that you are not hving regular bowel movements, this is not good.
When on a detox program you need to have minimum 2 bowel movements per day, if you are not having this many then it might be a good idea for you to get a NATURAL laxative from the health food store to help you along until your body is able to.
You must have bowel movements to detoxify.
Are you drinking enough water? During a detox you need a to be drinking 1/2 your weight in ounces of water every day. This is very important as the fluids help carry the toxins out of your body.
