Ace cold compress?
i've got a minor sprain, the ace cold pack (gel) is losing it's ability to freeze to a cold enough temp and i've checked my freezer temp, it's cold enough. i thought these gel packs are reusable, any experience with the same thing? they probably make them this way so we keep on buying more ace products, otherwise they'll go out of business, right? i will hate to buy from them again, it's a simple product, why the hell do they have to ruin it before they market it!!! i am gonna use ice from my freezer,those bastards at ace can go straight to hell

Take a bag of frozen peas or frozen corn and use that as your cold-pack.
As far as the commercial packs, I've never heard of them losing their ability to freeze or retain cold, but if you say yours has then that's good enough for me.
