Answers:

I totally 100% agree with this.

First off, what people like "Maria" don't seem to realize is that no matter what is preached about in school and no matter what anti-drug subject matter is crammed down people's throats: People are GOING to use psychoactive drugs, simple as that.

Many, many preventable deaths and hospitalizations due to drug overdose could have been prevented. NOT because the person necessarily shouldn't have done it - but rather because they didn't know how, and were too afraid to ask. I believe that - as a med student now, and as a previous "chemical connoisseur" - it is my civil duty to inform those who ask.

It may SEEM wrong - telling people how to use certain drugs, and what to expect from the effects... But honestly, if they are going to do it anyways then they ought to have correct information about what they are doing. This way, they don't get injured in what is already considered risky behavior.

It seems to insult the intelligence of the people asking because they obviously know "drugs are bad" (or so they've been told). Who hasn't heard the anti-drug spiel? If you've gone to school, you've heard it.

There will always be people engaging in the use of "illegal" drugs. But the term itself is so relative. A chemical is deemed "illegal" by a group of lawmakers - many of which have not had any kind of personal experience with. So it is natural for the human mind to wonder "why?". I mean, isn't that the Great Question? "Why?" Well, I - for one - believe that it is important that these "wonderers" are as fully equipped as they can be for their journey in pursuit of the answer.

Better to be informed than uninformed. Or worse yet, misinformed.

Take heed, Questrion: There are still people out there who supply such truths upon request... Lol.
