Glucosamine and chondroitin supplementation for my 77 year old Grandma. Advice !

Question:

Glucosamine and chondroitin supplementation for my 77 year old Grandma. Advice please.?

My grandmother has knee pain (her knee was injured when she was struck by a car several years ago and she subsequently had surgery... which didn't do anything for her as she still feels pain and a 'grinding sensation' in the joint.) She had a tumor removed, along with a significant amount of her large intestine about 10 years ago and was told by a doctor that liquid supplements would be better absorbed by her. She is borderline diabetic (not diabetic though)...

Would glucosamine supplements help? What dosage? Are there any liquid options available? Can anyone recommend anything to help my Grandmother maintain her mobility?

Thank you.

Glucosamine takes a long time to work(6-12months). I've heard good response about this product for the "grinding sensation" and pain. If you do not experience results with this, they refund your money. Good Luck.
