Dfficulty sleeping?!

Dfficulty sleeping?

Hi Everyone

Im having difficulty sleeping and relaxing whilst in bed (can't switch my brain off, keep thinking about work related issues/money etc). Can anyone give me an alternative remedy to help - one where I wouldn't have to take a tablet/eat anything.

No rude answers, or silly answers please, this is really getting to me!

I have suffered from this one too- i think we all do at times. When we go to bed we have time on our hands if you like that we don't have in the day so we have time to think. This works for me:
You can't do anything about anything in the middle of the night- worrying about doesn't make it go away- you are just sapping energy you need. So keep a note book by the bed- write down what is worrying you and promise yourself you will make time to look at these problems during the day when you can solve them. Then resolve to forget them when you are in bed- it does work. Try to sort these issues out. I spent years worrying to the point i had a breakdown, but in retrospect i am still alive, i have a roof over my head etc. I confront issues as much as i can now when they arise so they are over and done with and i don't have to worry about them.

I have resolved that i don't do anything i don't want to anymore. There is always another way! There are ways to solve money problems, there are different jobs! If someone upsets me i wish them love and peace (it confuses them!). And when i really have something i can't shake off i meditate!

It doesn't matter how many hot baths, or long walks you take- if you have stuff in your head you need to deal with it first- in the daylight when you can find solutions!!
