Water fasting?!

Water fasting?

How long should i fast for? I've never fasted with just water before. Is one day long enough or not?

I agree with -bls.
Fasting is good but you MUST prepare your body first.

1. She advises you eat raw vegetables and fruits for 2 days before. I say one day will do it.

2. But, make sure you drink 8 glasses of distilled water a day. (NOT BOTTLED WATER...make sure it is DISTILLED).

3. Drink up to 2 Red teas a day. If Red tea is not available, Green Tea will do. Make sure you do NOT add milk, cream or sweeteners of any kind to it.

4. Fresh juice is essential. By fresh I mean go to the produce department and get the REAL thing...not canned or frozen or ready made juices.

5. Raw cabbage is good for colon. Lemon is a wonderful cleanser.

6. Dilute juices1part water to 3 parts juice no sweeteners or additives.

7. Don't cook before you juice the fruit or vegetables.

8. Do not fast with water alone!

9. A 3 day fast helps rid the body of toxins.

10. A 5 day fast start the healing process.

11. If you fast 3 or more days, make sure when you do start eating again you start slowly with soft foods.
