Is there an alternative to methotrexate?

I am 16 yrs old an i take methotrexate to treat arthritis.. i hate taking my medicine .. it makes me feel really sik.. it makes me throw up an it makes me feel sik just thinking abowt it.. i really need to find a different medicine .. are there any??

I know the methotrexate and steroid combo i used to be on that crap for my RA. You should ask about Arava i used to be on it and didn't have that many side effects. I have been on like 6 diffrent med combos and that was the lesser of the evils. Oh and they may try to push humera the injection crap run like the wind from that hurts like hell and makes you a zombie.
