Answers:

It all depends upon what you have in mind for your future. If you are interested in naturopathy, then seek schools that offer this, e.g., Trinty, Kingdom College and Clayton College. These programs typically require long-term investment of time and money.

If you are interested in massage, then seek a massage school.

If you are interested in establishing a holistic health practitioner practice, then seek schools that offer such programs, e.g., Brutus of Windhorse Healing Arts & Holistic Academy. www.brutusofwindhorse.com

Holistic health practitioners are able to set up practices quickly and legitimately. If they offer reiki, sometimes they are able to go into hospitals and give treatments. If they are ministers, they are often allowed in hospitals for counseling and rites. They can also officiate at weddings.

Acupuncture needs to be licensed. So check out state laws and regulations. Start networking with alternative practitioners, vets and hospitals to learn what they offer and if there are openings. I would also recommend being insured.

So, it is important to clarify - identify what a person wants before pursuit. Saves time, effort and money by doing so.
