Question:

It doesn't happen when I eat it cooked. Is this normal or is it an allergy or food sensitivity?
Answers:
cabbage contains a lot of sulfur compounds that are broken down or vaporized during cooking - i actually like raw cabbage! it's really good for you. remember that cabbage is in the same family (Brassicae) as the mustard plant - in fact, cabbage was mustard before it was turned to cabbage by breeders! it's not an allergy. it's cabbage.
