uh... if it was possible to make a pill work 100% it would be done already. it actually is near possible if you raise the dose a lot higher, but then youre putting the person at risk for cancers and adding a lot of side effects. as is right now, the pills are very effective- for most combo pills, there is only about 1 accidental pregnancy per 200 women per year when they are taken correctly. so these types of unwanted pregnancies only represent a small number of abortions... the vast majority of the problem is that people either 1) dont take them correctly or 2) dont use any birth control method at all, so i strongly disagree with you
there really isnt a very good solution, i guess the best would just to be encouraging use (and proper use) of birth control pills, condoms, etc.
