Arginine pills?!

Question:

Arginine pills?

are they safe and what are the side effects?

also do they actually help with growth?

Answers:

Personally, I like Arginine, I take it (when I have it), and some other amino acids. I find the Arginine helps me sleep well and I don't build tolerance to it.

But if you continue to use it, by all means, buy the powder, not the pills. (If I was the sort of person who wrote in capitals, I would have wrote that in capitals.)
It is many times more economical. Find the 1 pound or 1 kg which is 2.2 pounds - size.

It helps with the functioning of the pituitary gland. Along with other amino acids, Arginine aids the pituitary gland's production and release of growth hormone.
It is good for the skin and is important for repairing and healing damaged tissues. Boosts the immune system. Tones muscles and metabolizes body fat. Vital for balancing nitrogen levels. Helps improve liver function. Detoxifies the liver, by neutralizing ammonia. Fosters mental alertness.

Don't give it to infants or growing children,. Do not give to those with schizophrenic problems. People with herpes should not use it, it may trigger the virus. If you take too much over the course of several weeks, skin may become coarse, that will go away if you cut back.

This is from a great book I have called "The All-In-One Guide to Natural Remedies & Supplements"
