~4~2~0~ What's the best way to clean my Mendo Mulcher herb grinder~?

I just got a metal Mendo Mulcher herb grinder a few weeks ago... It worked smoothly the first 10 or so times, but now it has hash is the corners, and it cant glide smoothly... I tried to scrape it out, but its no use... its too thick! Is there something that I can soak it in over night that will loosen it up without damaging the metal? Please give me any help you can!

I could also use any tips you have on cleaning glass pipes... I usually boil them in water, but I have broken too many that way! Do you know a better way?

I don't know about metal types, but you can get glass crystal clear by using a small amount of rock salt and some regular alcohol and swish it around.
