Can anyone tell me about radiologic technology??

I'm thinking about applying to the program and I'm in Anatomy and Physiology right now. The class is pretty easy. How are the radiology courses? Pro's and Con's of the job would be nice to know. Anything about the job would be nice to know actually.. What is the best area of radiology to work in?

I've been in Radiology for 30 years+. It is a great career and has been a terrific career for me. There are many jobs within Radiology. When you are in a program you will get to learn and experience alot of them. I've done most jobs and attained registered status in Radiography and Ultrasound. I have been in Management for the past 10 years. The best path for you will have to be determined by you while considering your interests, strengths and weaknesses. Don't limit yourself to just one thing, take advantage of every oppourtunity to increase your skills and knowledge and reach higher each time. As you build your skill set and competencies you also build you value to an organization and your market value. Aim high!
