"NO THERAPEUTICS CLAIM" what does it means?

Or, like a lot of alternative and natural remedies, they actually have to say that they are not claiming that it will definitely make something better (ie there may be no therapeutic effect).
Sometimes they add to this something along the lines of "This product MAY help....." or "could help" or "might help"!
Presumably, that way if you don't get any better you have no comeback against the manufacturers (can't sue them etc!)
