Has anyone tried the alkalising powder called 'Supergreens'?!

Question:

Has anyone tried the alkalising powder called 'Supergreens'?

Hi! I saw an article for 'supergreens' and its benefits for those with the illness M.E. aswell as other conditions. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences of taking this supplement and if they could let me know what they thought/if it helped them etc. please? Thanks :)

I have not heard of the product before. I just looked it up and looked into the ingrediants and I do have to say that it LOOKS pretty good. I also take products that contain similar ingrediants in powder form. I think one thing to consider is quality. Supergreens looks like a product that is overly commecialized and probably mass produced.. thus only leading to poor quality. Before jumping to man-made, proccessed products to aid the body... why not go back to nature?

One of the most alkalining foods is the lemon. Most people's reactions are "lemons are acidic!" And although the lemon is an acidic fruit, it becomes alkaline as it is digested and assimilated in our system. It is, in fact, our best aid toward alkaline balance. There is no danger of "too much acid." Here is a website with great information on the use of lemons... you would be surprised in what it can do! http://www.quantumbalancing.com/news/lem...

Here is another website to show the alkaline and acidic foods: http://mysite.verizon.net/felipe2/id12.h...

This is not to belittle the use of powders and supplements, but I wanted to mention some of the little, easy things you can do to create alkaline balance in your body. If you're looking for a good product, I personally recommend Dr. Hagiwara's BarleyGreen. There is no product out there that can compare to this... and I have tried quite a few! And please do not get it confused with AIM's BarleyGreen.... it is NOT the same! My mentor has even been to the farm in Oxnard to see exactly how it is Dr. Hagiwara's BG is produced and processed. Here is their website for information... must read thoroughly before thinking of purchasing Supergreens. This is by far a superior product.

Just one more thing I want to add in regards to chlorophyll that is good to know/consider. Chlorophyll has a molecular structure almost identical to that of the hemoglobin in blood. The primary difference is the nuclei--the nuclei of hemoglobin is iron and the nuclei of chlorophyll is magnesium. Pretty interesting stuff, huh?

I'm not trying to sell or promote a single product here, but I do believe that this is a great product and the best there is on the market when it comes to greens or barley grass. I believe the main component in Supergreens is barley grass. But see for yourself and make your own decision! I wish you all the best... good luck! :)
