My aching head?!

Question:

My aching head?

I was diagnosed with migranes recently, I got some meds that don't help much and was wondering if anyone know anything that can help until I go back to the doctors.

What about acupuncture, has anyone tried that?

Answers:

Hi AMBER A.
Yes, acupuncture may help.
Several studies have also shown how acupuncture has helped patients with osteoarthritis, post-chemotherapy nausea and even depression. Despite all the apparent positive feedback, those considering acupuncture should still consult regular doctors and health-care professionals for advice on their conditions first. If they decide to pursue the treatment, they must make sure that the acupuncturist or practitioner they see is highly-qualified and certified by organizations such as the American Academy of Medical Acupuncturists. Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/alterna...

Headaches or migraines can have different reasons. Some natural treatments work therefore better for certain headaches than others. Assuming that your headache is not the result of a disease then you have either tension-type headaches or vascular headaches.

Tension-type headaches are simply caused by overstraining of muscles. That can be strain of the eyes, face, teeth or muscles in the neck for instance. Relaxation and massage of these muscles can bring immediate relief. Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/natural...
