my husband moved to utah from florida and the dry air out here has really messed with his sinuses. we have tried antibotics, every over the counter drug that is out there. he has been so sick he feels that "this is not living". he runs a fever constantly. we have a humidifier at home but that does not seem to help. does anyone know of a home remedy?

Try using a saline solution that you shoot into his nose while he has his head at a tilt. Another option is using a neti pot, which also has its own solution and requires the tilt. When the head is tilted, the solution comes out the other nostril; which is weird, but it's really good stuff. Both options will markedly moisturize his nostrils. A plus is that neither of these remedies are addictive like other nostril sprays tend to be.
