Reductil (sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate) scored poorly when tested in studies looking at sustained weight loss.It has a large number of contraindications. It tends to raise blood pressure and as a psych-active drug do not use it all as a diet aid. I remain unconvinced that its benefits outweigh its risks.
