"narcan" is used in hospitals by doctors to reverse the effects of an overdose. (used to save lifes).
Answers:
Narcan is the trade name, naloxone is the generic name of the drug. If my memory is correct, it only comes in the IV form. The drug is readily available in the hospital setting, but not at your local pharmacy.
The better question is WHY would you need naloxone?
