The only way to buy it without a prescription would be to do so illegally. I hate to say this, but I think you should press charges on your son's father. I imagine that you are reluctant to do so because of the effect it might have on your son, but it sounds like his father has a drug problem, and he needs to be held accountable for it. Not only would this do your son's father some good, but it would do your son some good, as well. After all, he deserves to have a dad who isn't a junkie.
