What is the best way to treat long term tension headaches?!

Question:

What is the best way to treat long term tension headaches?

Answers:

Try taking a multi B complex vitamin supplement (tablets). When we are under added stress we use extra B vitamins in our bodies. The B complex group of vitamins are water soluble and so your body cannot make them and need to be replaced on a daily basis.

Vitamin B12 is one of the B complex group of vitamins and a deficiency in this vitamins will cause headaches, migraines, inability to concentrate, dizziness, depression, chest pains, heart palpitations, head and hand sweats, impaired balance, fatigue and exhaustion, moodiness and irritability. Not pretty is it ??? Extremely easy to remedy though.

Either go to the chemist and ask the pharmacist to advise you on which brand of a multi B complex vitamin is the best to buy. Avoid synthetic vitamins (the cheap and nasty ones) as they are too hard to digest. Or increase your intake of foods rich in this vitamin.ie: milk, liver, kidney, cheese, leafy green vegies, fish, eggs, yoghurt and beans.

Heavy protein consumers also need extra amounts of this vitamin.

Aside from the obvious of drinking at least 8 - 10 glasses of water per day and replacing water lost through drinking coffee and caffeinated drinks two fold, this will certainly alleviate your problem headaches.

Please pay more attention to your diet and treat yourself kindly and you will certainly reap the benefits.
