Can I take Synthroid and a bovine supplement Thytrophin PMG made by Standard Pro!

Can I take Synthroid and a bovine supplement Thytrophin PMG made by Standard Process at the same time?

I had thyroid cancer and had my thyroid totaly removed in 2000. I've been on Synthroid since then. I have been having some problems keeping my TSH down. My doctor is trying to tweak the dosage. I just went to a chiropractor who wants me to also take a bovine supplement, Thytrophin PMG, made by Standard Process. She says it'll be like I have my thyroid again. I'm skeptical. Will this interfere with my endocrinologist's results? Will it be too much and make me hyperthyroid?

The Standard Process product has absolutely not one speck of active thyroid (Thyroxine) in it. It is a completely inert pill made of dried,cooked bovine thyroid tissue that has to be certified Thyroxine free before it can be sold.

So in this case the fraudulent product from standard process is an advantage. Its total lack of effects can't cause harm.

But, why waste your money on a bogus product?
