Adderall anywhere?!

Question:

Adderall anywhere?

in the twin cities area?

Answers:

Wow. So are you trying to get busted?

Look, it's actually quite easy. It sounds like to me you want adderall so here's what you do:

The first step is to study the symptoms of having ADD and know them well. You think that you may very well have ADD and that's great, but you must learn the symptoms.

Second, explain to your doctor that your honestly having a very hard time concentrating. Say that your grades aren't where you feel they should be only because the amount of work you're putting into studying is not giving you the results you feel you deserve. While explaining this, you must sound frustrated with your situation and NOT DISPARATE. If you sound like the ONLY way you will be happy is with drugs then you'll probably not get it. Simply talk about how much your life is sucking because you really feel you have a great chance to get fantastic grades because you are willing to put many hours to study.

Third, to tack on this next one works well but for you it may be a lie. Tell the doc that you have taken adderall before when you were younger. (Don't say too young because it has only been around since 1996.) You don't remember the Doctor's name but you remember how much it helped you but a parent took you off of it because they read something about stimulants being bad so they switched you to holistic medicine and your concentration was never the same.

Your doc may reluctant to prescribe stims because of the habit forming stigma that proceeds it. Some docs, like mine, don't like to use amphetamines as a first-line of treatment and prefer to try "safer" meathods. NRI's like Atomoxetine (Strattera), or NDRI's like Bupropion (Wellbutrin) are good too. I take Bupropion and it feels pretty damn good and I can concentrate very well. I have taken Dexedrine, Adderall and Ritalin and I know they are kick-*** and I love that ****. But those have some funky side affects like the jitteryness and appetite repressing action.
I went to see a doctor about getting some amphs and docs are aware of the effectiveness of it's use over the reuptake inhibitors I mentioned above.
So...say you'll try anything to the doc and perhaps they will give you Strattera, say you didn't like the side effects (learn the side effects) and then get some amphetamines.
I was in to the docs office recently and I ended up trying this last method of trying something "safer" first and then getting the stims, but then i really am starting to like the bupropion. I don't like how stims give me the come down feeling. You can learn about how reuptake inhibitors work at wikipedia and how they are much easier on the brain.
