The Plastic Surgeon that I was considering isn't on the ABMS?
He's not registered. He's been a surgeon for 30 years and seemed like he knew he stuff, but why wouldn't he be on the ABMS if he was really that good??

i dunno, that might be something you should ask him. personally i wouldnt go to someone who wasnt board certified.
