How to reach the salvia "shaman Level"?

I recently bought 20 dollars worth of 5x Salvia Divinorum. I smoked a reasonable amount and got pretty messed up. But I read online that there is a "vivid" level you can reach in which hallucinations kick in pretty heavy. I would really like to reach this level but am not sure how much I need to smoke to get there. I am sharing with one other person as well. Can anyone give me a certain amount of "good hits" I need to take to get here?

If you want to reach a higher level, you'll probably need more potent material. I believe they sell it as high as 40x.

Try some 20x, make sure you're using a water pipe, smoke 3 or 4 pea sized amounts very quickly, and remember to get the flame really hot, a torch lighter works best, keep the flame on the whole time your sucking, and hold it in for 45 seconds if you can.

There are 6 levels you can reach on salvia, Level 6 is undesirable as you become unconscious. I reached level 5, which is described as "merging with god and/or the universe."

It was amazing, like travelling through a stream of colors that defied space and time, and a noise, a peircing shrill sound that deafened everything else. I distinctly remember the feeling of everything becoming one, and my first thought was, "Are you phucking serious? This is it?" And then just like that, it was over.

My friends said it appeared to them that I after I exhaled, I began laughing hysterically before beginning to scream and thrash about the bed I was lying on.
