Oil of oregano allergy?!

Question:

Oil of oregano allergy?

I have candida overgrowth so I've been taking natural anti-fungals, such as oil or oregano.

Yesterday, I took one on an empty stomach (normally I take it before/during a meal) and in about an hour, I started to feel really itchy and warm, and noticed that my skin was turning pink/red and hot, particulalry in my joint areas (i.e. knees, elbows) and ears. I had a reactine (allergy med.) with me, so I took one just in case. In about 30 mins, my skin returned to normal but I felt really cold (I guess from the initial heat rush). Within about 20 mins after than, I felt fine. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Could it be an allergy to oil of oregano or just a die-off or herx reaction from the toxins? Please let me know what you think.
