Ever had accupuncture? whats it like the first time round?

I had it earlier this year for the first time to help me with my insomnia and I would reccommend it.

There is a sensation when the needles go in but they are just so very fine it is not painful... then when you are lying there for the time required for them to work .. you will get more sensations. very hard to describe other that to say they aren't painful just *different*.. My Doctor left me while she attended another patient and i was left for longer than she intended me to be... I forgot that i had a needle on the inner side of my right ankle and for some reason lifted my foot and that was the closest thing i felt to pain .. a tight feeling .. but that was it.
the second round was a little more relaxing ( i had more needles) because i knew what to expect..

it has helped a little with my insomnia I now fall asleep easier BUT still wake an hour or more earlier than i need to.
