Is ALFALFA grown in the Philippines?

Alfalfa is a herbal plant and I'm interested to know of its medicinal uses; if it is grown in the Philippines, its local name.
How to propagate this plant.

Alfalfa is grown across the united states and made into bales of hay to feed horses, cattle, sheep, etc. and has many uses. It is also known as Chilean Clover, Father of All Foods, Buffalo Grass, Buffalo Herb, Purple Medic, Lucerne.

The parts of alfalfa used by human consumption are the Leaves and sprouting seeds (i.e. Alfalfa sprouts on salads and sandwiches).

Alfalfa sprouts contain more protein than corn and wheat, and is one of the richest sources of vitamins and trace minerals, such as the necessary selenium, being high in vitamins A, D, E, and K. Alfalfa can ben taken as a tea, blended in drinks, capsules, etc.
