Also, the only reason why you can't get anitibotics over the counter is because if every time we got sick or had a cold, we took an antibotic, our bodies would become immune to the anitbotic and it would not work anymore. So if you were to get really sick, there would be nothing they could do for you. Prescription medicine like cough syrup and otc meds don't cure you, they just make your symptoms go away, making you not feel so bad.
