Chinese medicine?

What are everyones thoughts about turning to Chinese medicine when all else fails?

Has anyone tried this and its works wonders.

Please would like to hear good aswel as any negative stories. Im going to see one tomorrow for my dad, and hopefully for mum too

I am using chinese herbalism and acupuncture to treat Poly Cystic Ovariam Syndrome. I have been to endocrinologist,dietician, psychologist, general doctors, specialist etc etc. I struggled for about 7 years with trying to come to terms with a severe form of PCOS that my body was confused and was I was starting to go through menopause. I tried everything and I did so in silence. My mum and sister were the only ones that I talk to about. I was at breaking point at one stage when my aunty had visited me (she had just recently finished he course in CH and Acupuncture). She tried to talk to me about how it works and for months I ignored her. My thinking was if western doctors can't help me and they have so much technology how was a few herbs and pins going to help me. In the end I got so desperate that I was facing HRT and a hysterectomy at age 23. This is when I decided that I would give it six months. That was 4 years ago. I now have never been lighter, happier and healthier. I have kept my uterus and ovaries, I have a good chance of having kids and I am able to live life with alot more gusto and no depression. It might have cost me money but no where near the cost of what i spent previously. This at least worked.
