How much baking soda do you need to add to the saline solution used in your neti!

How much baking soda do you need to add to the saline solution used in your neti pot in order to alleviate the
stinging sensation? I'm getting a very strong stinging sensation when I use my neti pot, even though I am using very little salt. I've read that you can add baking soda to help this problem, but I can't seem to find out how much to add. Any experienced neti users? A little help?

Yeah, use less salt, and if you want to try baking soda...start with half of the amount of salt you use...ie. 1 tsp salt + 1/2 tsp baking soda.
